The management of Ovation Media Group has announced the cancellation of the 2021 Ovation Carol originally scheduled to hold on Saturday December 18, 2021 at the Balmoral Events Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.
In a press statement signed by the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Aare Dele Momodu, titled CANCELLATION OF OVATION CAROL 2021, and made available to The Boss, the management stated that the sudden spike in COVID-19 Infection cases in Lagos made it inevitable for the fiesta to be cancelled for the second time in a roll, adding that it was not its intention to ‘put our friends and guests at risk’.
The statement further apologised to the event’s teeming fans for the inconvenience the cancellation must have caused while promising a ‘bigger and better year end celebration of Africa’s best and brightest next year’.
The Ovation Carol is a yearly fiesta of appreciation, hope, music and fun.
