Former House of Reps Member Slumps, Dies While Watching Nigeria/South Africa Match

A former member of the House of Representatives, and medical doctor by profession, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, has died.

Dr Ojougboh reportedly died  during the Nigeria vs South Africa match on Wednesday.

The sad incident, according to sources, happened when the penalty was awarded against Nigeria. Dr Ojougboh was said to have shouted and slumped due to ‘massive heart attack’ when South Africa scored.

Ojougboh, who hails from Delta State represented Ika Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives 2003-2007.

The doctor-cum-politician was born on September 8, 1958.
