The Super Eagles of Nigeria have advanced to the final of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast after beating Bafana Bafana of South Africa 4-2 on penalties Wednesday.
The Eagles overcame the scare presented by the hard working South Africans, who managed to take the game into extra time after a 90th minute equalizer.
In the line-up against South Africa, the head coach, Jose Peseiro, only made one change in the squad that faced Angola, with Osayi-Samuel replacing Zaidu.
The team will meet the winner of the Cote d’Ivoire vs DRCongo ongoing at press time
