He died today at the hospital where he was waiting for to undergo a surgical procedure.
According Dramatist and lecturer, Shaiibu Husseini in a facebook post, the veteran film maker and actor died earlier today.
Has due for the operation on Monday after funds had been raised by well meaning Nigerians for the purpose.
