UK based media experts representing Ist Focus Media, Ben TV UK and AMAN gathered friends, associates and colleagues for a charity walk and awareness programme on prostrate cancer.
The campaign programme was conducted in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos and it saw participants walk along the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge while sensitizing motorists and pedestrians on prostrate cancer.
Before the commencement of the walk, Dr. Adeyemi Ogundele gave a talk to participants on prevention and negative effects of prostrate cancer.
Dr. Ogundele emphasized the need for adult male from up to 40 years old to go for regular check-up because early detection was important in the management of the disease.
The walk was peaceful and well conducted and the organisers told The Boss that it was a huge success.
