It was a great joy for the family of former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke as his second daughter, Netanela had her traditional wedding with Asuquo the son of Dr. & Dr. (Mrs.) Asuquo Ekpenyong.
Held at the expansive home of The Dukes located on Diamond Hill, Cross River State, the event brought to fore the rich colour and culture of the Efik people.
The lively ceremony was attended by top dignitaries, including Governor of Cross River State, Prof. Benedict Ayade, Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, Obong of Calabar, Edidem Ekpo Oto V, and his wife, Deputy Governor, Cross River State, Prof. Ivara Esu and his wife, Head of service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita and Senator Godswill Akpabio.
Others were Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Onofiok Luke, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Archbishop & Bishop (Mrs.) Archibong Archibong, HRM Prof. Itam Hogan Itam and his wife, and many others.
The event was planned by UD MENSA Events, food was supplied by The Kitchens, music was provided by the South Central Band while top artiste, Iyanya also thrilled guests.
