Ayodeji Olarenwaju and Mayowa Ogunnusi’s Grand Marriage Ceremony in Lagos

One of the major purposes for marriage is to find joy and happiness with that person you love more than the rest. It was this reason that Ayodeji Olarenwaju and Mayowa Ogunnusi decided to get married and spend the rest of their lives together.

The couple began their journey to matrimony at the beautiful Muri Okunola Garden, Victoria Island, Lagos which was filled to capacity with families and friends.

The wedding kicked off with an opening prayer by the father of the bride, Mr. Olarenwaju Awonuga after which the officiating minister, Most Rev. G. L. Lasebikan, charged the couple with a short but inspiring sermon.

He admonished them on how to make their marriage work, stressing that tolerating each other is the key while bringing to the fore the benefits of being married. In addition, he gave them valuable instances of a successful marriage, and blessed the union thereafter as vows and rings were exchanged.

After the church service, the guests and family members moved to the exquisitely decorated reception hall for a classic reception, compered by MC Tosin Ibitoye, who spared no effort in giving the audience the best of entertainment even as Awesome Band and DJ Sparrow supplied music of different genres for all ages. The guests danced unhindered.

Because of the clout and connection of both families, there was an avalanche of important guests who witnessed the solemnization ceremony. Among them were the richest man in Africa, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, CEO of Forte Oil, Mr. Femi Otedola, Chief Rasaq Okoya and wife, Chief (Mrs.) Shade Okoya, CEO, Ovation Media Group, Bashorun Dele Momodu, Sir. Olu Okeowo & wife, Lady Adejoke Okeowo, Alhaji Mohammed Dikko Abubakar, Senator Sanusi Daggash, Mr. Folusho Philips, Mr. Wale Edun, Mr. & Mrs. Amusan, Mr. Yemi Adeola, Mrs. Bukky Bolaji Basia, Cecil Hammond among others.
