The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has announced the TAV Consortium as the “preferred bidder” for the management of Lagos airports. The selection is however, subject to all necessary official approvals.
FAAN also intimated that after the necessary approvals are obtained, the next step in the tender process will be a negotiation stage between FAAN and the Consortium.
Recall that in September 2022, the consortium formed by TAV Airports Holding, NAHCO Management Services Ltd and Planet Project Limited, submitted a bid for the tender to operate and develop the international passenger and cargo terminals of Lagos Airport in Nigeria for a period of 20 years.
