There are indications that the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr Nkem Okeke, may be on the verge of dumping his party, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of November 6 Anambra state governorship election.
The Boss learnt that a delegation of APC leaders led by Senator Andy Uba stormed the home of the deputy governor Wednesday evening to convince him to defect to the APC.
Nkem Okeke has been the Deputy Governor of Anambra State since March 17, 2014 under the leadership of Governor Willie Obianor.
Okeke first served as Anambra State Commissioner for Economic Planning, and again as Anambra State Commissioner for Works and Transport in the administration of Governor Peter Obi.
