There is no way, Lagos would not feature prominently when the history of the June 12 Presidential elections is written. Lagos State was the centre of the all the action before the martyr, Chief MKO Abiola was arrested and it was the hub of the pro-democracy and civil disobedience campaigns.
Little wonder that at the inaugural June 12 Democracy Day celebration, leading lights of the state including Political heavyweights and captains of industry were there.
