Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has called on legislators and the ruling All Progressives Congress ( APC) to consider the South East for leadership position in the National Assembly .
Governor Okorocha noted that the Sout East was too important to be ignored in the affairs of governance at the centre. He noted that if not the Senate Presidency, the Speakership or Deputy Senate Presidency should be zoned to the region.
He revealed that the way the Oshiomhole-led NWC of the party is going, APC will become a regional party when President Buhari leaves the scene in 2023.
“Because of Oshiomhole, we do not have any South East APC Governor at the moment, this is very bad for a national party” he stated
