Ahead of the AFCON qualifying match between Nigeria and South Africa, set for this weekend, former Nigerian footballer, George Finidi, has given his prediction about the outcome of the match.
The former Super Eagles right winger stated that Nigeria has been playing with a lot of confidence in recent times and he believed that they would win come Sunday. He further said,
“South Africa always wants to beat Nigeria especially after their victory in Uyo – that’s why they’ll fight till the end but the Super Eagles will have an edge at the end”.
During their last match, the South African team played a 1-1 draw with the Seychelles team, while the Super Eagles defeated Libya 3-2. Nigeria tops Group E with South Africa coming in second.
