Ahead of the country’s double qualifying clash against Libya for a space in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru, has said that the team will go all out to grab a win.
Nigeria will host Mediterranean Knights at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, with the reverse fixture to take place on Tuesday in Sfax, Tunisia.
“We know what the coach wants from us which is to give our very best against Libya. That is exactly what we intend to do in both games,” the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles quotes Onyekuru on Friday.
“We will work very hard to win and make our nation proud.”
The player who currently plays for a Turkish club, Galatasaray, on loan from English Premier League side, Everton assures that the Super Eagles are prepared to play their ace game and get a win.
Libya is top of the group with four points, same as South Africa who are second due to a goal difference. Nigeria is third with three points.
