The Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, has ordered the sack of all special assistants from the service of the state with immediate effect.
The termination order was contained in a tweet by the Sokoto State Government to the effect. The governor stated that the reason for the sack was to enable the former special assistants to ‘engage in partisan activities without ethical or moral dilemmas’.
The governor wished them well in their future endeavours.
