A man from Bazha village in the Matobo District of Zimbabwe, Steven Tshuma, 32, fatally stabbed his uncle, Pedzisai Mpofu, with a knife for allegedly boasting that he was having an affair with his wife, Sinikiwe Moyo.
According to iHarare, Tshuma walked into Zamangothando Bottle Store at Bazha Business Center around 5pm where Mpofu was drinking beer and confronted him about the rumours.
A misunderstanding arose between the two men leading Tshuma to pull out an Okapi knife from his trouser pocket stabbing Mpofu once in the back and neck.
Mpofu bled profusely and died before he could be rushed to the hospital.
A report was made to the police leading to Tshuma’s arrest.
Tshuma has been sentenced to 25 years in jail.
