FirstBank Holds 2018 Agric Expo in Lagos

The First Bank of Nigeria is set to hold 2018 Agric Expo with the theme:  Innovating for a Sustainable Green Economy.

The Expo, the second in the series, is scheduled to take place on Thursday June 28, 1018 at Zinnia, Jasmine and Iris Halls, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Expo will provide a platform for about 60 exhibitors to display the latest in fresh farm produce, well packaged finished goods and farm equipment.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Audu Ogbe, is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour in addition to master classes, which will be facilitated by subject matter experts, focusing on various capacity building topics such as Agricultural Processing for Self Reliance and Export and iAgric: Emerging Trends for Agropreneurs.

The FirstBank Expo is created as a platform to continue supporting government’s policies aimed at strengthening private sector participation in the economy, especially through agriculture.
