FC Roma of Italy came from behind to defeat Liverpool of England 4 – 2 in a six goals thriller inside the San Siro, but the goals were not enough to see them through as Liverpool qualify for the UEFA Champions League final with a 7 – 6 goal aggregate, having won the first leg at the Anfield by 5 – 2.
Liverpool will later in the month in Kiev play Real Madrid to decide the real league champions.
