As part of the one million lives campaign of Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi where at least one million people will be rescued from poverty and/or sickness, the Esther Ajayi Foundation has undertaken the medical bills of Mr. Bukayo Bakre, who was diagnosed of Chronic Osmolysis of the left femur and Chronic Ulcer of both legs.

Speaking exclusively to TheBoss on the sustained kindness of the Mother, who has declared that ‘kindness is my attitude’, her representative on the one million lives campaign, Mr. Abiodun Paseda, said that surgery was conducted at the Shoreman Medical Centre, Ikeja, at the cost of N2 million which the Esther Ajayi Foundation has off-set.

Bakre, before the surgery

“Mr. Bakre has been bedridden for 20 years as a result of the disease which crippled him on both legs until the Foundation got wind of it. Mummy instantly disbursed the fund needed, and here I am to execute it. I am happy that the surgery was a total success, and everybody is happy; the man in question, his family members and every other person who has witnessed what has happened,” Paseda said.

In his reaction, the beneficiary of the largesse, Mr. Bukayo Bakre, thanked the Esther Ajayi Foundation for beaming the searchlight on him, and taking him out of 20 years misery.

“I am very grateful to Reverend Mother Ajayi. The fact that she is using her wealth to affect humanity is a guarantee of her place in the sight of God. I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I am free from my 20 years pain. God will continue to bless for humanity,” he said.
