We Take Full Responsibility for the Election Postponement – INEC Chairman

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has taken responsibility for the cancellation of Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections, saying that security and pressure from political parties have nothing to do with the postponement.

Speaking at a world press conference at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, the Chairman, Yakubu Mahmood, explained that logistics on electoral materials formed the basics for the last minute adjustment of the election dates.
