Breaking: Political Campaigns Remain Closed, INEC Declares

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has emphatically declared that political campaigns which came to an end on the midnight of Thursday February 14, 2019, remains in force, and will not be extended.

The Chairman of INEC, Yakubu Mahmood, made the declaration while answering questions from election stakeholders at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, venue of the World Press Conference.

The Chairman also stated that the distribution of PVCs will not resume following the postponement of the election to February 23, 2019
