The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), will today begin its presidential campaign at the Nest of Champions, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
According to an announcement inviting party leaders, stalwarts and members from across regional divide, and signed by the Chairman of the Presidential Council, HE Governor Udom Emmanuel, the event is expected to kick off at 10 am.
Receiving delegates, who had arrived for the campaign at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, Emmanuel expressed delight at the privilege to host the campaign flag-off and thanked the leadership of the party for entrusting him and other members of the campaign council with the task of driving the Atiku/Okowa rescue mission.
The governor, who has been credited with outstanding performances in his state, assured that today’s rally will be grand, and will launch the party to victory.
Members of the party have unanimously agreed that anything short of victory for the PDP in 2023 will be an extra burden too heavy for Nigerians to bear given the total misadventure of the APC in the last seven years.
