The President, Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has conferred on Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, OFR, Ph.D, the prestigious National Honour of COMMANDER OF THE ORDER OF THE NIGER (CON).
Already, Ozekhome is a recipient of the National honour of OFFICER OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC (OFR), and will be conferred with the National honour alongside other eminent Nigerians at a ceremony slated for October 11, 2022, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
This honour, one of the highest in the land, is certainly a well deserved recognition and befitting reward for Dr Ozekhome’s famed patriotism, pan-Nigerianess, industry and consistency in speaking truth to authority; challenging impunity; and fiercely advocating and defending the rule of law,good governance and the fundamental rights of the voiceless, oppressed, repressed and marginalized Nigerian citizens.
