The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akande, Telu I, the paramount ruler of Iwoland, has assured the presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Aare Dele Momodu, of his support as he trudges on to grab the party’s ticket for the 2023 presidential election.
The trendy king made the remarks when he received the celebrated and well travelled journalist to his palace in Iwo, as part of his consultation tours.
Speaking and praying straight from his heart in Yoruba language, Oba Akande reiterated his support for Momodu’s quest to run the affairs of Nigeria come 2023, saying that the country needs intellectual regeneration at this time, and Momodu, with his wealth of knowledge and experience, is suited for the task.
“Be Rest assured, the job is done, and you shall have your heart desires,” the King reeled.
In his message, Dele Momodu had informed the king of his Intention to bring about a definite change to the administrative pattern of the nation, towards bringing good life to the Nigerian people, and restoring the goodwill image of the country among comity of friends in international politics.
“I do not wish to be Minister, senator, councilor or the likes; it is my intention to be the president. That is from where I can put in my wealth of experience for the good of the nation, and restore the image of the nation and it’s pride of place among the people of the world.
Momodu’s visit is part of his consultation tours of royal institutions and political strongholds to declare his Intention to run for president in 2023.
