By every standard, attaining the age of 70 is quite an accomplishment, and so it proved to be when the family of Deaconess Dorcas Risikat Ogundipe gathered friends, well wishers and colleagues to celebrate the 70th birthday of their beloved mum and grandmum.
The lively event, which kicked off with a prayer by Prophet Akinola Fasawe, was held at the Taynet Event Centre, Alakuko, Lagos, with equally lively personalities including members of the Genesis Model Parish, in attendance.
Relieving the good times he had shared with his mum, the celebrant’s first son, Israel Oladele Ogundipe, remarked thus:
“The lessons you have taught me cannot be found anywhere else because they are real-life experiences that you shared with me. I truly appreciate your efforts for me and I wish you a marvelous 70th birthday.”
The joyous celebrant couldn’t hold back her excitement as she danced heartily in the company of her children and other loved ones just as the ageless golden voice of Evangelist Ebenezer Obey serenaded the atmosphere.
Thereafter, she was assisted by very close family members to cut her 70th birthday cake to the admiration of all present.
Dignitaries that attended the occasion were CEO, Oodua TV, (UK), Dr. Ayo Coker; Mrs. Bose Osinowo, CEO, Ademoj Catering Service, Alhaja Mojisola Fatimat Sani and others.
