Three aides to the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, and his wife were on Saturday involved in an auto accident on their way to a campaign rally in the western senatorial district of the state.
This is coming barely one week after the helicopter conveying Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo crash-landed in Kabba.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Onongu Mohammed, on Saturday, indicated that the accident was a minor one as no one sustained any major injury.
Mohammed listed those involved in the auto accident as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Women and Children, Mrs Kenechi Ajayi; the Senior Special Assistant to the wife of the Governor on Women affairs, Mrs Ejura Edward and the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the wife of the governor, Mrs Adesoro Olamide.
He said that they were involved in the accident on Saturday morning around Oshokoshoko village while going to Isanlu for the All Progressives Congress’ women rally.
