The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has said that the law making chamber has advised the Lagos State government all payments going to Visionscape from henceforth.

Hon. Obasa made the remarks during the House sitting as a response to Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu, who raised the issue of indiscriminate waste disposal on the streets of Lagos.

Visionscape is the face of the cleaner Lagos initiative introduced by the Governor Akinwunmi Ambode administration to replace the local PSP.

The Speaker added that PSP operators have been asked to return to duties.

“We have asked that PSP be brought back to clean Lagos State. We implore LGs and LCDAs to hold meeting with and get them back to work,” he said.

Obasa once referred to Visionscape as a ‘ghost’, saying ‘we don’t know them’.
