It was an atmosphere of joy and gladness when family, friends and well-wishers filed out in their numbers to celebrate the latest septuagenarian, Chief Olayinka Kufile (OK), the Aro of Egba land.

The event was held at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter’s Anglican Communion, Ake, Abeokuta, where a Eucharistic service was observed to commemorate the landmark age of 70.

Guests were thereafter moved to OK Event Centre where they were treated to a first class reception.

Legendary Juju music maestro, Chief Ebenezer Obey and his band, were on hand to relive the old times with sonorous evergreen performance.

Some notable dignitaries who honoured the occasion were the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the Paramount Ruler and Alake of Egbaland, HRM Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, the Head of Service, Ogun State, Mr. Abayomi Sobande and Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Abiola kufile-Okonji.

Others were Amb. Toye Okanlawon, Mr. Ade coker and wife, Prince Dapo Sorinolu, Seriki of Egbaland, Chief and Chief (Mrs.) Fadare; Hon. Justice Jacobs Sofolahan and wife, Rtd Bishop Adebayo Akinde and many others.
