The Transformation Foundation of Business and Technology has announced plans to host a virtual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Dialogue aimed at tackling Nigeria’s widening digital divide and equipping young people with critical digital and workforce-ready skills.
The dialogue, billed for Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (WAT), will hold under the theme “Bridging the Digital Divide: Skilling Youth, Strengthening Workforces.” It is expected to draw thought leaders in CSR, workforce development, and brand strategy to deliberate on how organizations can align social investments with digital skill-building initiatives for underserved youth.

The Foundation explained that the event will not only explore how digital empowerment enhances employability for young Nigerians but also demonstrate its role in strengthening talent pipelines and reducing attrition rates in the corporate sector.
A major highlight will be a keynote address by Mr. Eche Munonye, Publisher of CSR Reporters, alongside case studies showcasing how digital training has positively transformed lives and communities.
Organisers stressed that the dialogue is designed to inspire action rather than rhetoric. Companies are therefore encouraged to nominate representatives from their CSR, leadership, or workforce development teams to participate and identify collaboration opportunities.

Registration is open until August 22, 2025, through the official portal: https://transformationcollege.org/csr-event-registration.
The initiative is in line with the Transformation Foundation’s broader mission to promote inclusivity, build a digitally competent generation, and support organizations in meeting their social responsibility goals in impactful and measurable ways.
