President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared waivers on transport prices for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays for interstate road users,
According to a statement by presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, on Wednesday, the federal government will pay 50% of the interstate road traveler’s transportation costs during Yuletide.
This, the statement added, is aimed at cushioning the economic hardship faced by Nigerians.
The president further stated that train travel will be provided at no cost starting on December 21 and running through January 4, 2024.
