The Enugu State High Court has barred Senator Samuel Anyanwu from parading self as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In a ruling on Wednesday, the presiding Judge, Justice C. O. Ajah issued an interim injunction stopping Sen. Anyanwu from parading himself or acting in capacity of National Secretary of the party, pending the hearing of the Motion on Notice which comes up on November 27, 2023.

The Court further ordered that the suit be served on PDP NWC and others by pasting same at the gate of PDP NAtional Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse zone 5, Abuja.

It would be recalled that the Court had earlier ordered the PDP National Chairman and NWC to recognize Rt. Hon. S. K. E. Udeh-Okoye as the National Secretary in line with the resolution of the Southeast Zonal Executive Committee.
