Mohbad: Police Unveil 19-Man Investigative Panel

The Lagos State Police Command has began investigations to unravel the immediate and remote causes of the death of Afrobeat singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad, whose death occurred on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Addressing the media on Monday while constituting the committee, the Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, flanked by Mohbad’s family members, acknowledged that the death of the music maker has elicited loud responses and controversies, called on the general public to volunteer information to aid a speedy unraveling of the circumstances leading to the death of the 27-year-old singer.

The 19-man investigative panel of seasoned detectives is mandated to revert in two weeks
