A lawyer, who described himself as Monsieur Avril @monsieur_avril on X (formerly Twitter) has revealed that the Ikeja branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) removed him from their whatsapp platform because he described a Lagos transport worker, MC Oluomo as ‘executive thug’ on the platform. A screenshot of his removal shows it was done by one Issa Adedokun through the OFFICIAL NBA IKEJA 2.
The lawyer also posted a conversation he had with the particular person, who removed him, confirming the reason for his removal.Â
He wrote: “I was removed from the NBA Ikeja Platform for using a derogatory caption against MC Oluomo.
“The Derogatory Word = “Executive Thug.”
Responses from respondents either condemned the act or justified it.
