Veteran journalist and former Director of Strategic Communications, Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign, Chief Dele Momodu, has lamented the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, describing it as verdict of those who lack sence of history, and a brazen and deliberate distortion of the Constitution.
Momodu made the revelation via his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle shortly after the Justice Tsammani-led Tribunal dismissed all the petitions of the Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party to the advantage of President Bola Tinubu.
He however, said that instead of condemning the Justices, men and women of goodwill should rather feel pity for them.
He wrote:
“I watched in utter amazement and wonderment how our Constitution was brazenly and deliberately turned upside down by those who lack a sense of history and care less about the verdict of history… What all men and women of good conscience should have for them is pity and not anger… NIGERIA SHALL BE FREE…”
Recall that the five man judicial panel affirmed the election of Tinubu as president, claiming that the petitioners failed to claim their cases.
