INEC Files Six-Count Charge Against Adamawa REC, Hudu Yunusa

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has finally filed a six-count charge against the Resident Electoral Commissioner of Adamawa State, Barr. Yunusa Ari Hudu for his role in announcing the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Hajia Binani as winner of the March 18 governorship election in the state even results were still being collated.

A statement signed by the Commission’s National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee Mr. Festus Okoye, noted that the charges were filed at the Adamawa State High Court sitting in Yola, adding that trial has been fixed to commence on July 12, 2023.
