Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 Presidential aspirant and Publisher of The Boss Newspapers, Aare Dele Momodu has called for wisdom and humility as solutions for the ongoing crisis in his party.
In a post on his social media handle, the respected journalist and columnist wrote:
“Long before the crisis over zoning of Presidential ticket in PDP blew open, like NOSTRADAMUS, I already predicted the dangers ahead… The South complains all the time about being marginalized but fails always to work critically on its strategy… HISTORY is a key ingredient needed to show us what happened in the past and what is likely to happen again… The Philosophy of INDIVIDUALISM has never been to our advantage… Nobody serves POWER on a platter, you must work for it, across the nation… It took the Blacks over 200 years to produce a Barack Obama in America. The reason is simple, power is a game of number… You must be loved beyond your immediate domain… You must display palpable MODESTY and RESPECT for others, and reassure them repeatedly that you mean well for all… It is never a matter of force but a painstakingly slow process.
You must possess the magical ability to win over your enemies… The North cannot win without substantial support in the South and Vice Versa… After three attemps, BUHARI stooped to conquer… It took him time to build those bridges… He climbed down from his high horses, balanced the equation twice with Pastors, and took nothing for granted… HUMILITY in victory and failure is very essential…
Raining insults on ourselves will never change anything… The last ingredient needed is simple but difficult to purchase… WISDOM…”
