Mrs. Felicia Wabara, wife of a former Senate President and Secretary of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Adolphus Wabara, is dead.
A statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, and titled PDP Mourns, Condoles Sen. Wabara Over Wife’s Death, noted that the party is in mourning over the irreparable loss, and sends its heartfelt condolences to the party chieftain.
The statement noted that “Indeed, our Party is heartbroken by the news of the passage of Mrs. Wabara; an exceptionally graceful personality, a very courageous and devoted Christian whose trust in God stood firm despite her challenges.
“Mrs. Wabara was a peaceful and kindhearted soul; a very caring mother, dutiful wife, dependable companion and pillar of support for Senator Wabara in his service to our dear fatherland.”
It further expressed sadness that she died at a time her husband, children and her loved ones needed her presence and services most, and therefore, commiserates with as many that are connected to her including the people of Ukwa in Abia State and her kindreds of Ogwa in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State.
“The PDP family deeply grieves as Mrs. Wabara departed at the time when her husband, children, extended family and indeed, our nation, Nigeria, needed her devotion, prayers and wise counsel the most.
“The PDP mourns and commiserates with the Wabara family, the people of Ukwa in Abia State, her kindreds of Ogwa in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State and prays to God to grant Mrs. Wabara eternal rest and to the bereaved, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
