The jet carrying Buhari has landed at the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, the state capital.
Recall that the state Governor, Hope Uzodinma, had announced Buhari’s visit.
He said the president would commission some significant projects while in the state.
Some pro-Biafra groups however faulted the planned visit.
