Toyin Saraki Condemns Xenophobic Attacks in South Africa, Calls For Robust Measure To Stop Violence

Founder-President, Wellbeing Foundation Africa (WBFA) has expressed her sadness at the spate of violence an xenophobic attacks that has erupted in the South Africa in the past few days.

In a series of Instagram posts, Mrs. Saraki noted that Africans were one and there was no justifiable reason for some South Africans to kill others Africans and destroy their businesses. She illustrated this with her pictures with some prominent South Africans including Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Graca Machel, the wife of late Nelson Mandela.

She wrote thus “I am deeply saddened by the heinous acts of violence perpetrated against Nigerians and other Africans in South Africa and welcome, HE Cyril Ramaphosa’s denouncement of these xenophobic attacks and his promise to bring the perpetrators to justice”.

“We must ensure that robust measures are taken across all affected areas to stop  the violence an assure the safety and security of all people”.
