Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye who is contesting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial ticket has rejected the result declared by the Governor Umar Fintiri led Election Panel which gave victory to Engr. Musa Wada.
In a tweet on his official twitter page, the Senator wrote “It is ridiculous to declare a final result of the PDP Governorship Primary election in Kogi State when my votes sorted out yesterday in 8 out of 10 ballot boxes are missing. Only to declare votes in 2 out of 10 as my votes. Totally unacceptable”
In the results declared, Senator Dino scored 70 votes to return fourth while Engr Wada scored 748 to Abubukar Mohammed Ibrahim’s 710 votes and Captain Idri Wada’s 345 votes.
