Hundreds of protesters are right protesters in front of the Nigerian High Commission in London in response to Omoyele Sowore’s call for #RevolutionNow protest.
Bearing different placards, the protesters are chanting slogans such as ‘Buhari Must Go’ ‘Operation Must Stop’ as well as militant songs like ‘Freedom come by Struggle’.
Sowore was arrested by members of the Department of State security (DSS) early Saturday morning in his Lagos home. Meanwhile, Police in Lagos have barricaded the National Stadium, slated for the takeoff of the one million man protest tagged #RevolutionNow.
