The Chairman of Geregu Power Plc, who is now being referred to as Papa Gelato on Instagram due to a viral video of himself and his daughter, Cuppy where they went to Italy for an hour just to get Gelato Ice Cream said he stopped wearing watches three years ago because technology ended its necessity.
A follower had asked him,

I started wearing a watch when I was 12 years old and I stopped 3 years ago. Technology has ended our necessity for the archaic wristwatch. Less is more
