Ruga Settlement: Fani-Kayode Seeks Outright Cancellation, Not Suspension

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to shelve the idea of suspending the Ruga Settlement Project as the country wants outright cancellation.

Fani-Kayode said this through his verified Facebook account, stressing that that is the only way peace will reign in the nation.

“We do not want you to suspend RUGA, we want you to CANCEL it! Suspension means you are postponing the evil day, cancel means it is NEVER coming back.

If you want peace in this country RUGA must be CANCELLED and you must also CANCEL your Fulanisation and Islamisation policy,” he said.

Buhari had, in response to public condemnation and outrage, suspended the project.
