Simi reveals reason she got married to Adekunle Gold

Date:

Nigerian singer and song-writer, Simisola popularly known as Simi, has taken to social media to reveal the only reason she got married to fellow singer, Adekunle Gold.

While it is undeniable the chemistry and strong bond Simi and Adekunle Gold share, their sense of humor and goofiness often displayed on social media has convinced many fans that their love for each other is indeed real. Well, despite all of these things, it may come as a shock to many that love isn’t the reason Simi got married to the Orente crooner.

In a recent post on her Instagram, she revealed that she got married to him so as to be able to wear all his clothes. She wrote: “only reason I got married was so I could wear all his clothes and never give them back. that’s the only reason he didn’t want to get married. so love is compromise. compromise is her having her way.”

The couple who are known for throwing jabs at each other, continue to do this on a daily. Just recently, Simi and Adekunle Gold got many fans admiring the nature of their relationship after Simi accused her husband of omitting her name in the list of foreign artistes he listens to.

It all started when Adekunle shared a list of all the international artistes who do it for him. In a joking manner, Simi responded to the post which was shared on Twitter, asking why her name was omitted and calling her man a ‘traitor.’
