Former Green Eagles Captain and the 180 Nation’ s cup winner, Christian Chukwu has reportedly taken ill and has been struggling to raise $50,000 for his treatment in the US may just heave a sigh of relieve as the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has decided to foot the bill.
We gathered that NFF President, Mr Amaju Melvin Pinnick has instructed officials of the football body to visit him and sort the problem.
Fondly called Chairman by fans, Chukwu was rushed to the hospital but is reportedly in stable condition. And has been trying to raise funds to visit the US to get proper care.
