Embattled Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen who is currently on suspension has reportedly resigned.
Sources revealed that Justice Onnoghen who is currently standing trial in the Code Of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) and has just closed his case gave his resignation to President Buhari yesterday.
His surprise resignation may be connected to the recommendation made by the National Judicial Council that Onnoghen should be made to resign with benefits.
