Social media personality, Blac Chyna, recently announced that she, on the invitation of Nigerian US-based cosmetic entrepreneur, Dencia, will, come Sunday 25th, be in Lagos, Nigeria, for the launch of the Whitenicious Body Cream Store.
The announcement has been met with negative reactions including from Nigeria’s very own Burna Boy. The musician, has in a series of Instagram stories, warned the social media personality saying, “please do not come to my home and sell your poison”, going on to remind Nigerian ladies that the colour of their skin is beautiful and anybody who attends the launch, might as well commit suicide. The Whitenicious cream has received even more backlash and the social media star has been accused of “taking advantage of the insecurities of colourism and self hate”.
Blac Chyna, has responded to this negative backlash by claiming that the Whitenicious lightening cream which sells for $250 per cup, is to help out individuals with problems with hyper pigmentation. With all these negativity surrounding her visit, some individuals including cross dresser, Bobrisky, who idolises Blac Chyna, look forward to her visit.
