A social enterprise initiative called the LEAD Project Africa hosted eminent personalities at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos to celebrate and recognise creativity, innovations, brilliant ideas and enterprise in various sectors of the African economy.
The event was organised to proffer solutions to economic challenges, business growth in Africa and recognition of innovations, trailblazers and budding entrepreneurs in different sectors of the African economy that are creating values.
10th LEAD Big innovation Festival offered an opportunity to look into the future, explaining the technological developments that will empower Africa to complete favorably in the 21st century.
Eminent Nigerians who were awarded included Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his Exemplary Leadership Quality, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Rt. Hon Mudashiru Obasa, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, Mr. Tony Elumelu, City People Publisher, Dr. Seye Kehinde, Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Granduje, Princess Adebowale Odutola and Gloria N. Elemo among others.
