Lagos socialite, Lola Bakre, has come out with yet another ‘baby’ known as ‘Helping Hands Foundation’, launched in Lagos amidst fanfare. The event was held at the prestigious R&A Hotels, Ikeja, with a crowd of headliners, family and friends in attendance.
Speaking on the purpose of the foundation during the launch, Mrs. Bakre hinted that widows, youths, the under privileged in the society as well as indigents form the bulk of beneficiaries of the foundation. She added that the foundation is her own little way of contributing to the welfare of the less privileged in society.
Among the personalities in attendance were Nollywood actresses such as Foluke Daramola, Sikiratu Sindodo, Kemi Korede, Bose Awosegbe, Anita Julius, Aderonke Hassan, Liz Da-Silva among many others.
Other attendees include Lagos branch executive members of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) such as MC Oluomo, Koko Zaria and others.
