Godswill Akpabio, former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, has finally and officially dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Mr Akpabio who is currently a senator representing Ikot Ekpene Senatorial district had earlier resigned his position as Minority leader in the Senate.
Earlier, the Akwa Ibom governor fired two commissioners from his cabinet for their link to Akpabio.
