Otunba Ashiru Congratulates Fayemi, Says Victory’s for Democracy.

Ogun State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry and All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial consensus candidate in Ogun East Senatorial district, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru has congratulated Dr. Kayode Fayemi on winning Saturday’s governorship election in Ekiti State.

In a statement from his campaign media office on Sunday, Ashiru stated that the conduct and outcome of the election is a huge victory for democracy and the preparedness of the electorate to ensure that credible personalities are put in governance.

He also congratulated the leadership of the party at all levels and all party faithful who stood their ground to ensure a resounding victory for the flag bearer and the party at large.

He then rejoiced with the good people of Ekiti State, for the peaceful manner in which they conducted themselves throughout the election period and their resolve to align with a progressive politician who will transform Ekiti into the State of their dreams.

Otunba Ashiru then called political  opponents to see the election as the wish of God and enjoined them to cooperate with the governor-elect to make the State great again while urging the outgoing governor to be a sportsman and provide a smooth transition process to the incoming government.

The Ogun governorship hopeful also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security operatives for the peaceful and successful conduct of the elections.
